Key Stage 3
Key Stage 3 covers students learning in Years 7, 8 and 9. The curriculum is a broad and balanced curriculum that is framed on the lines of the National Curriculum for England as well as Ministry of Education. It essentially builds on the learning in Key Stage 2 and provides the foundation for Key Stage 4.
There is strong impetus on developing foundation in all key subject areas. The aim at key stage 3 is to promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils at the school and prepare students at the school for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life. Education at this stage is designed to foster permanent values based on a maturing sense of self- worth.

Leadership qualities are identified and nurtured at this age and communication skills are honed. Students are provided with opportunities beyond the classroom so that they gain practical life experience and learn to take responsibility. The Apple ethos acknowledges the practical and intrinsic rewards of intellectual achievement. It also cultivates positive leadership qualities, shaped by an active sense of social responsibility. We promote learning with fun and practical application of the knowledge gained. Scholastic and non- scholastic programmes challenge every student to learn for life- in a spirit of self- discipline, discovery of their own potential, sharing of opinions, love of ideas and encouragement by peers and mentors.
