Key Stage 1

Key Stage 1 is an integral part of a student’s learning, where we ensure progression in the development of essential life skills. Students are encouraged to learn through a sense of inquiry and develop a keen desire to know.

The school aims to provide a happy, nurturing environment where each child is treated as an individual. With our strong well-defined curriculum, students grow into well-rounded, happy, and responsible people.

In Years 1 and 2 we offer the National Curriculum for England; which is enriched with the core values of Apple International School and integrated with community-based projects and life skills. At Apple International School believes, we go beyond the acquisition of knowledge to develop the skills of investigation and inquiry, as well as provide a more structured approach to learning.

Our vision is to foster the growth of self-reliant, critical thinkers who are also creative, emotionally intelligent, and lifelong learners. Children in Key Stage 1 have daily lessons in English and Mathematics aligned with the English National Curriculum. The curriculum includes the following elements:
