We are recognized as a happy and inclusive school that prioritizes student safety and well-being. AIS maintains a 1:10 teacher to student ratio to ensure the holistic well-being of the students. The Damascus campus offers students of secondary phase with spacious school building with the space to grow with freedom. The facility has a fully maintained AstroTurf football field, international standard Indoor sports facility, multi-purpose hall and well-equipped science labs, ICT and STEAM. We offer a broad range of IGCSE subjects delivered by qualified and experienced teachers. Educating the whole child
The school follows: EYFS in Foundation Stage, CPP in Years 1 to 6 and The National Curriculum For England in Years 7 and 8. The school’s curriculum is designed keeping in mind the multicultural mix of the student community and their individual learning needs.
Literacy skills and numeracy skills
The school follows the ‘Ginn Reading Skills Programme.’ Every week two periods are set aside for enhancing Literacy Skills. Numeracy skills are incorporated into the curriculum. It improves the critical thinking skills of students.
Leadership skills
Apple-ites are identified and trained and encouraged to cultivate – leadership qualities at all stages of learning . They are given a platform to voice their opinion and share- responsibility in the AIS school- improvement and developments- through the school prefectorial board.
