Autism Awareness Week is coming up from May 17th to 19th, and we at Apple International School are excited to participate in this important event. Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects communication, social interaction, and behavior. It is estimated that around 1 in 54 children are diagnosed with autism, making it a common disorder that many of us are likely to encounter in our daily lives.
As a school, we are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all our students, including those with autism. During Autism Awareness Week, we will be hosting a series of activities and events to raise awareness and promote understanding of autism. Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone feels valued and supported.
We are excited to participate in Autism Awareness Week and to promote understanding and acceptance of autism within our community. We hope that this event will inspire all of us to embrace diversity and inclusion and to create a more compassionate and supportive world for everyone.
