United Nations General Assembly observes 16th September as the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer.

The assembly was conducted to create awareness amongst the young students who will be the citizens of tomorrow to sensitize and spread the responsiveness for the depleting ozone layer. The students were given an insight into the importance of the ozone layer and the need to protect this fragile shield of gas which protects the Earth from the harmful Ultraviolet radiations.

The students shared some information about the depletion of the ozone layer through a skit. The Phase Leader, Ms. Dimpy, addressed the gathering with a short but inspiring speech after which the assembly was dispersed.

In all, it was a good learning experience for the students and teachers alike. Ozone Layer Protection… The mission goes on! Hope this mission is successful and we all live a long and healthy life on our Planet.
